Heartwood Church exists to cultivate a community that belongs to, is formed by and sent by Jesus. We’re on a journey of following Jesus together. If you want to come with us, here’s how to get started. You’re always welcome.
Seeker
Jesus often invited people to ‘come and see’. A seeker responds to Jesus’ invitation to ‘come and see’. There is a genuine curiousity about who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him.
Believer
Jesus’ second invitation is to follow Him. A believer surrenders their life to Jesus, is baptized and is beginning to model Jesus in every day life.
Worker
Jesus’ third invitation is to follow Him for the purpose of becoming ‘fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19). A worker is on mission with Jesus as they share His love with others through service.
Disciplemaker
Finally, Jesus commands His followers to ‘go and bear much fruit’ (John 15:16). Disciplemakers multiply themselves in others as they make disciples, develop leaders, lead teams, and start new ministries.

Who are you discipling and doing life with?
Discipleship isn’t a Bible study or attending a small group. Discipleship is living life alongside someone and replicating yourself in them as you move towards Jesus together.
