Joyful Generosity
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7)
In addition to specific missions moments, Heartwood Church has three consistent funds that you can designate funds towards:
- General Fund | The General Fund provides resources for the operation and ministries of Heartwood Church.
- Deacons’ Fund | The Deacons’ Fund provides resources to help local families meet short-term, urgent needs (ie, utility assistance, food, rent, etc).
- Great Commission Fund | The Great Commission Fund is a vital source of funding for Alliance gospel-advancing ministries throughout the world, including church-planting initiatives in the U.S.
Why Do We Give?
Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference. We believe that Jesus calls us to sacrificial generosity and biblical stewardship (Matthew 6:21). We give out of what has been entrusted to us and with joyful hearts (Hebrews 13:16).
Your gifts help us participate in and contribute to local, regional and global missions and ministry (Acts 1:8).
